We believe that the environment needs better protection than we’re giving it. The United States goes through 100 billion plastic bags annually. These plastic bags do not biodegrade, but break down into smaller non-biodegradable particles. We also believe that our society as a whole does not support women who are in recovery from substance abuse or have a history of felony or prostitution. Many of these women have no job history and want to get back to work. But entering back into mainstream society is extremely difficult if you’ve been homeless or haven’t worked in a long time.
